We Stand With Israel

Ramah Berkshires stands in unwavering solidarity with the State of Israel and our mishlachat (Israeli staff), alumni, families, and friends who have endured — and continue to experience — unspeakable grief.

In moments of helplessness, it is our duty to give support and care to all in the Ramah community looking for help.

At Camp, our mishlachat are an important part of our family.  They form meaningful relationships with our chanichim (campers) as Madrichim Miktzoim (live-ins) and specialists, and they bring Israeli music, food, culture into our summer programs.

Our Kehillah in the News

2023 Camp parent/staff member, Nir Koren, answered the call to depart Canada and return to Israel to defend the country. Our prayers continue to be with him, his wife Andy (Rosh Omanut), and his beautiful children Dani, Aliah, Yoav, Shani, and David. See story HERE.

Baruch Dayan Ha’Emet

Among those who lost their lives since October 7, including several in the extended national Ramah family, we mourn the loss of Eden Nimri, sister of Hadar Nimri (Mishlachat ’16-’17). Eden was a commanding officer in the “Sky Raiders” (Rochev Shamayim) and died while protecting her soldiers. More information HERE.
