SABABA Bogrim
is back and better than ever…… entering ninth grade campers and parents, be on the lookout for your SABABA survey in early April. Campers will travel outside of camp for an intensive five day Ramah-out-of-Ramah specialty experience. Some will learn culinary arts, some will participate in a variety of chesed activities. Others will bike or hone their theater skills. And new for this year, Bogrim campers will have the opportunity to have a concentrated dance experience as well.Shavua Balagan ~ wild and crazy week ~ in response to staff feedback and suggestions on how to maintain the integrity of the daily schedule, while offering a wide range of special activities, we have created two “wild and crazy” weeks during the course of the summer. Many visiting artists and specialized programs will be a part of shavua balagan.
Mitbachon X 2: Yes, Virginia, there ARE two mitbachon programs! Because our families have responded in surveys that mitbachon is the most popular elective activity in camp, and because we know that many more campers would prefer mitbachon, WE HAVE CREATED AN ADDITIONAL MITBACHON. The electives will be more specialized (for example: Middle Eastern cuisine, or Cooking Around the Holidays) and will take place in our mitbachon, as well as our newly renovated cooking space in Beit Breira. B’tay Avon! (hearty appetite)
