Nitzanim had a great second week of camp! We loved Chashi (Chatzi Shavua Yisrael, Half a week of Israel), and learned a lot about Israeli culture and history. We’ve also been learning Israeli dances and songs all week in Shirah and Rikkud. In sport this week, we had a great time playing soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee, and we also loved boating, mitbachon (cooking), teva (nature), and omanut (arts and crafts). On Wednesday, we had Yom Senses, in which we had a blast playing different games that focused on each of our senses. We’re excited for our Shabbat, “Shabbat Shalom,” during which we’re going to make up our own prayers for peace and learn about conflict mediation. Shabbat Shalom to all of our friends and family back home!
