Machon had another incredibly wonderful week. Departing for New England on Sunday, we spent four fun-filled days touring in Boston and Rhode Island. We visited the Boston Science Museum, Fenway Park, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Boston Holocaust Museum. The Duck Tour and Shear Madness were two special highlights. In addition, we took a Haunted Walking Tour of Boston and enjoyed a Scavenger Hunt around Harvard University. Due to rain we had to cancel our volunteer work at the Boston Nature Center but substituted the visit by watching a terrific movie. Our last stop was in Rhode Island where we explored the Newport mansions and the historic Touro Synagogue. What a memorable edah adventure that we will surely treasure for years! Returning late Wednesday night, we woke up to a special Rabbi Resnick Day and Yom Sport Breakout. After a day and half of sports competitions, we are truly ready for a restful Shabbat.
