The summer may be winding down, but Machon 2013 just had its craziest, most awesome week yet! It seems like months ago (though it was only on Sunday morning!) that we left Wingdale for Philadelphia. There, we spent the afternoon at the National Museum of American Jewish History, exploring their beautiful and engaging exhibits, including one of Jewish summer camps that featured pictures of CRB.
By Monday we were off to the Herrs factor and Hershey Park, to see some fun information about our favorite foods, and also to have a great, delicious time along the way. We ended Monday in Pittsburgh and by Tuesday afternoon had made it to the Cleveland Zoo and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame– not to mention a fantastic time playing Whirlyball and Laser Tag.
On Wednesday, we went all out at Cedar Point amusement park, ensuring that each roller coaster was awesome up to our standards. Niagara Falls was our last major stop on Thursday, and with our walk along the side of the American Falls and a soaking ride on Maid of the Mist, we made sure to make the most of our time at the gorgeous falls. Now, with Shabbat about to come, we have a day to solidify our NJ-PA-OH-NY memories. Shabbat Shalom!
