Everyone had a blast in Nitzanim this week!! Our week started out last Shabbat with competitions where we learned about different ways that competition can be good or bad. This was in preparation for Maccabia (a mini color war run by Gesher) on Sunday.
On Tuesday night we had a Broadway style talent show to kick off our Yom Daled theme of “Yom New York.” We also made “I love NY” T-shirts, played tennis at the US Open, basketball at Madison Square Garden, and dressed up like the Statue of Liberty. We concluded the day a big apple circus carnival.
On Thursday night we joined the rest of camp for the Zimriya. We loudly and energetically sang our song “yavo“. Today we escaped the heat of Wingdale for the cool world movie theater, where we saw “Zoo Keeper.” After we returned, we got wet some more in the agam, and now we are getting ready for Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom from Nitzanim!!
