Shalom! We are thrilled to be back in Camp after a phenomenal tiyul to Philly this week. We started off on Monday with a stop at CoCo Keys water park and had dinner at the JCC in Cherry Hill. Tuesday was a jam-packed day. From the Liberty Bell to the National Museum of American Jewish History, to free time on South Street. When we visited the Eastern State Penitentiary, the kids really got a taste of Philadelphia as cultural and historical landmark. On Wednesday we made our way to Hershey Park, which was incontestably a hit.
Bogrim ended their week with Yom Sport after an exciting breakout on Thursday morning. The campers were told it was Rabbi Resnick appreciation day. After a series of moving speeches by alumni, staff, and local dignitaries, the sports staff interrupted the mood with a blaring introduction to Yom Sport Breakout! This week our Shabbat theme will concentrate on the meaning of self-care guided by Jewish tradition.
