As you are reading this update, our Bogrimers are finishing up their busiest day in camp! Last week’s Boker Tzrif was rained out and rescheduled for this morning. The campers and staff could not be more excited. We then switched gears from our individual bunk themes to a camp wide experience on the “Shvil Yisrael” – the Israel National Trail. This is one exciting entity of Chashi – Ramah’s three day Israel extravaganza. Starting with a flash mob during breakfast on Thursday and ending with special Israel centered programming on Shabbat, Bogrim did not have a minute to spare. Earlier this week, Bogrim weathered several thunderstorms to enjoy Yom America, which included a variety or games and ended with a thoughtful discussion about American Jewry and its relationship to Israel. After Shabbat, Bogrim will prepare for Sunday’s JV Chug teams challenge against Ramah Palmer for the annual inter-camp games! Shabbat Shalom.
