On a beautiful Visitors’ Day in Camp, we wished “l’hitraot” (until next time) to the campers who left after first session. With 21 chanichim , our one day Intersession, was packed with fun as we went to the movies to see Inside Out, baked cookies, splashed down a water slide, and ended the day with a delicious barbecue. Welcoming 26 bright, smiling faces into Nitzanim 2015 on Tuesday, we spent the day unpacking, getting to know each other, swimming , playing sports, and participating in new elective activities. On Thursday, Ramah Nyack’s Nivonim (entering 5th grade) arrived for an overnight and joined us for games, dinner, and watching Machon’s production of Aladdin. We’re all looking forward to Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom!
Jon Weinreich, Rosh Nitzanim
