Machon had a terrific week, beginning with Yom Orchim, Visitors’ Day and ending with Boker Tzrif. Each tzrif ( bunk) created their own flag at a peulat erev and also learned about the intricate tasks involved in directing Camp. Rabbi Paul Resnick gave Machon an insider’s view and our edah now has a greater sense of appreciation for those who lead Camp. Last night, our chanichim performed Aladdin for the entire Camp with energy and skill. From staging, to lighting, to learning songs, to creating scenery and to making costumes, Machon was brilliant! The hofa’ah staff coached us in creating a magical evening. We are leaving on our second tiyul to Boston and Rhode Island on Monday and can’t wait!
